Now that tomatoes are starting to flow here in parched Philadelphia, I'm
reminded of a lingering question:
Sun Gold cherry tomatoes are an F1 hybrid.

Who developed this variety, and how can we thank him or her for a wondrous
creation?

Perhaps you garden writers or those connected with the breed and seed trade
can help us with this mystery.
