I don't know why my mail program has drastically cut the letter to which
I'm responding. Sorry. Erica, I've found Jenny Lind seeds are not very
robust; perhaps seeds are old because Jenny Lind isn't a favorite any
longer. As for the lateness of your one plant, I'd be a bit suspicious of
the cement blocks. How far from the blocks is the plant? The blocks will
leach alkaline cement to some extent, and perhaps push the pH over the
acceptable edge. See if you can get some pH papers and test the soil near
the plant. Margaret L
