Hello, 

I'm having a dilema with my broccoli. This is my first year growing it.
When is the best time to harvest? I have a few that look like they are
ready to pick. I waited too long on another one and it had already started
to go to seed or something. the top looked strange so I wouldn't eat it. It
there a test or something to tell you when it's best to harvest? How big
should the stalk get before you cut it?  I almost lost them to cabbage
worms so I'm very happy that they've done anything at all.
