Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I live in zone 9 and decided to start to plant early to see
what would happen. I only planted a square of cucumbers, a
square of squash, and a square of peppers. It seems like so
many times, nothing even comes up :& Well, I noticed the
cucumbers and squash germinated. I went to check on the baby
plants this morning and noticed that the cucumbers were gone.
It didn't look like the dirt was messed with. I wonder what
kind of animal would have eaten it. We have a problem with
squirrels, but I haven't seen them around for a while. I bet
this is what happens to so many of my plants. Thats why it
looks like they never germinate, because something gets to them
before they can grow up. Any help on this will be appreciated.
