When I noticed ants going for my corn a couple of years ago, I too was
wondering what to do.  But then I noticed what the ants were doing -
eating aphids.  So I left them alone.  They did a great job cleaning up
the aphids and I had great corn that year.   Melissa in Michigan -zone 5
