Re: Fall Crop Planting

Square Foot Gardening List - http://myweb.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Mary,
I'm in Janesville, and I just direct-seeded peacock kale, miniature
cauliflower and raddichio. I plan to set them into spots that become
available as the season progresses--bush beans, sugar snaps, melons, etc.
Next week, (when the last of the mesclun comes out), I'm going to direct
seed Brussels sprouts. I sow seeds so that they stand about 2 inches apart.
I start transplanting to other areas of the garden when plant leaves start
touching each other.
