I tried the 4 per sqft planting of corn last year and ended up with about 10
fully pollinated ears out of two 4x4 plots planted. I went back to the 1 per
sqft this year, but we have had such a cool spring in Mass. this year the
stalks are only about 2 inches high. Hopefully, we will get some warmer
weather soon.
