Pepper Garden

Well I wasn't going to plant anything this year - we are under construction
for a major addition and the yard is a mess -- need to re landscape next year
:) BUT (Isn't there always a but in life?) my brother came to visit
yesterday and brought me lots of pepper plants, half a flat (50!!!) habanaro
plugs, some sweet peppers some sweet banana peppers (about 20 of each) and
about 20 cantalope! His father-in-law is a farmer and starts plants in green
houses to sell to the other farmers, Jimmy loves to share the wealth of
Dave's farm, which is great ut how many peppers can a family of 3 eat?
Espically as I'm pregnant and one of the 3 is only 19 months old:) Oh well
- I planted 8 of each plant - anyone in the Northern VA area want some
peppers? Send me email and let me know - I'll give them away - but I have
lots of gardening friends and they might go fast - they are also root bound
and need to be planted soon. I'm in Purcellville (near Leesburg) you'll have
to come pick them up, but hay they are free :)
