Hi Judy, What you do is moan and groan and then hang in there! Gardens are a lot like kids-- you never do know what they're going to do next, and then, just when you're despairing--they surprise you! You're probably not far from my area, so don't give up on your tomatoes yet--mine are only just starting to flower, and I don't expect to have fruit for several more weeks at least. Try some new plants where your peas and broccoli were, plan on starting some broccoli for fall--it does much better then than in spring, and above all DON'T GIVE UP! (Though the local farmers markets may help you satisfy your fresh veggie cravings for now!)
