Hi all Please excuse this slightly off-topic post but it concerns the lawn around my SQFT garden. A few years ago my lawn was invaded by wild strawberry and I used a broad leaf weed killer. It worked as advertised but also eliminated the clover. Now the clover is returning along with various weeds. My question: Is there a gentle weed killer that spares clover? How can I encourage clover? Any advice on lawn care would be appreciated. I would like to avoid residual toxic chemicals if possible. BTW does anyone have experience with clover as a cover crop? Although invasive at times, it is an attractive plant that enriches soil and draws pollinating insects to its flowers.
