Re: pepper and tomato questions

Gail, I have had trouble the last couple of years with similar symptoms on
tomato and cucumber plants. I determined that spider mites had infested the
area. I tried Sevin with no success last year and wound up pulling the
remnants of the plants by mid summer just when they should have been
producing in high gear. A local nursery advises kelthane, which I applied
last night. They are tough to reach because they live on the undersides of
the leaves, and are smaller than the dot at the end of this sentence. I
don't think crowding the plants helps either.
