FW: pepper and tomato questions

Gail, I've had the same thing this year, due to all the rain. It is a fungus,
and only weekly applications of Daconil have kept it at bay in my garden.
It's been raining almost daily here! (First the tornado, now all the rain,
sheesh!) However, I have been agressively fertilizing with Miracle Gro for
tomatoes (see tomato fertilzation thread) and despite their pitiful appearance
my plants are still producing strong. Now if I could only get rid of those
hornworms....eek!

Hope this helps,

<snip> Another question I have is about my tomato plants. It's been raining
alot and my plants are very tall, at least 5 or 6 feet in height,
just loaded with tomatoes (very early and unusual for my zone--thanks
to my wall-o-waters and Bio-Organics!). However, I have noticed
several plants seems to be succumbing to what I think is probably a
fungus (?) as the lower leaves are turning yellow and then die. <snip>

Happy gardening!

Gail, who's mouth is watering just thinking about that cucumber for lunch ;)
