Totally off the subject, but horned lizards are threatened due to loss of
habitat and invasion of exotic ant species, esp. fire ants.

Hi,
Ants don't do too much damage, but are a food source for the Texas Horned
Lizzard which is endangered, due to the lack of food supply (ants, or at
least that's what I've heard). Seems people keep killing off the ants.
Now you may not live in TX, but it's just possible that those ants are to
be some lucky frog's dinner. Think about it?
