For this amount, the SQFT method is the wrong method. You'll have much
less work with classic row culture and still can do mixed cropping easily.
100 squares of 4x4 feet correspond to about 150 square meters, paths included.
That's about the size of a conventional farmer's garden here: 10 beds,
120 cm wide, 10 m long, paths 30 cm wide (30 cm is about 1 foot).
Nothing against the SQFT method! It's the best method I know for small gardens.
With 9 squares, you will be happy, with 100 squares, you will waste your time.
