Re: thanks and wowee--I just ate my first tomato off the vine!


I live a little south of DC (Fredericksburg VA) and we are hoping to pick
our first pepper and tomato on the 4th!  The plants in the garden are still
very green and small, but we tried to plant some in planters on the deck
and these are producing fruit like crazy.

i am sooooooooo jealous!!!!!!  i am in zone 7 (very close to Wash DC)
& i don't even have one tomatoe yet.......of any size, any
color!!!!!!!!  I am sooooo disappointed!!!!!  it's no fun when it
doesn't work!!!!! :(((
