Re: Newly amended beds (fwd)

 Dear helpful folks in gardening land,

I am preparing a cold frame for the purpose of raising greens through the
winter and starting many of my own plants for spring planting. My
question is soil preperation of the bed. I have been mixing together a
mixture of 2 shovels of good topsoil, 1 of peat moss, 1 sheep manure and
1 of rice hulls. Would this composition give satisfactory results? Should
I add lime to this mix?
