Hi TIA,
You should probably have them covered now until late July/early August.
You'll have to take them (the covers) off to let the squash get pollinated
and before putting them back on, check the squash plants for the tiny,
reddish-brown eggs that the moths may have left while the covers were off. If
you see any eggs, just rub them off with your fingers.
