For those of you not interested in actually eating the sunflower seeds,
they make great self-contained bird feeders. Simply cut the flower off
the stalk and turn it face up. Place it in one of those macrame plant
hanger or hang it with string or wire. Pick out a couple of seeds to
give the birds a head start & let 'em at it.
