Ok, the lower parts of the tomatos are withering and turning brown,
as others have mentioned. I have not been to concerned until today,
when I found a dead green horned catapiller who looked like part of
it had been scorched, and I found two leaves with big purple spots
like a dalmation would have. I almost did not beleive the color
except that it shows up on the rear of the leaves clearly.
What is it and what do I do about it? HELP I don't want to loose
these babys, They are producing terriffically! YUMM.
Thanks to you all for all the wonderful discussions and information.
Oh and what a wonderful idea for sunflowers as bird feeders!
