Another question...we planted sweet corn for the first time this year
and with our usual foresightedness threw away the seed packet before
noting the ideal spacing of the stalks.  Since I don't even know the
variety we've got (can you tell the corn project was a bit of an
afterthought?), can anyone suggest a generally-acceptable spacing for
sweet corn?  Thanks.
