Hello, Well there is something new for us Square Footers (no it's not BINGO)
its a Square Foot Newsletter Online and you can be the writers.  It is with
Highwired.net an online site for school newspapers.
  
When I saw the site I thought it would be a great way to write about our
square foot gardens with "how too's" or "let me tell you about this". We are
all "students" of SqFt so I had to see if we could use the service.
I contacted the great people at Highwired.net , Ms Brett Dickens was supper,
and explained our situation.  Because I teach agriculture and my students
sqft garden they said it could be an activity on their site.

There is only one article so far and thats mine as an introduction. Look at
the other school sites to get a feel of what can be done.

You compose your article by using the submit button and following the
directions. You can add pictures if you like.  Your article is then sent to
me where I check it out and approve it. (teachers must check all papers
written by students on the highwired site)  Then it is posted.  There is
also a calendar where sqft activities can be posted a place for links and
other kewl things.

YES all of you can write and tell of your success and things you would have
done differently. Please show off what you have done. It may only be in text
and a few pictures but we all want to hear about it.  We are students and
teachers, I learn from my students each day. But vacation started yesterday.

I will be able to post your articles till the 19 of June then I will be away
till July 15 and will post those sent in between.  Send me an email of your
article so I know to go and post it up but I will check daily till the 19th.
So get those fingers typing away.  Any questions email me also.

Maybe Mel will be able to get something on for us.
