Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Good Morning, Well it seems the cutworms have called in some sort of mystery
reinforcement. I have planted a small garden under an old swing set for
some pole beans and cukes. Something is eating the leaves, sometimes they
are leaving the skeletons of the leaves sometimes nothing at all, this is
happening overnight, as soon as the leaves appear. I have cups around each
little bean but this is not helping. The cukes have been eaten too. Could
this be ants? The reason I ask is the garden is full of ants...I have never
seen any on the plants though. If it is ants would sprinkling self-rising
flour help? I am going to replant the beans and hope for an extended season
like last year. Does anyone have any other suggestions?....Sharon in
Ontario
