Miniblinds

Today I bought a 48" alabaster vinyl miniblind at
Home Depot for $11.50. I cut it apart and placed
the slats across my raised sq ft beds to mark the
squares. I really like the way that looks. Then I
started cutting up some more of the 1"  slats for
garden and pot labels. I made about 100 labels of
varying sizes--8" for the garden, 4" for flats, 5"
for pots--and I still have about 50 slats left
(another 500 or so labels). The slats are flimsier
than I expected (but are sturdier than many of the
plant labels I've bought) and cut easily with a
pair of scissors.

I'm happy.
