Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I have heard of it on this list but have yet to try it. I do believe you could use netting as you wouldn't place it on until after the fruit sets. This is all speculation. Any info out there? I want to try this next year as well. I am betting if you have a trellis in an open area, the vines could be trained to go up and over the trellis making it to possible to grow even 10ft vines in a square foot garden atmosphere) Also my spaghetti squash I am growig now is partially sharing the trellis with the peas and seem to be benificial to each other. Hope this helps. JessicaM
