This sounds very workable, but the one time I used tp roll centers in the
garden, they uncoiled at the first watering, and I had a mess to pick up in
the garden. Do you waterproof yours or are you drip watering? Oh, you ARE
in a rainy area, so you'd have that source of moisture, too.
