Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi, Charlie,
This is my third year growing the Ichiban eggplants. After trying several
varieties, including the large italian type, I grow Ichiban exclusively. I
find them more prolific and better tasting.
The fruit harvested is anywhere from 8 to 12 inches long, and 1 1/2 to 2
inches in diameter. Towards the end of the season they are shorter and
thinner, more like the size you describe. What do you feed them? I use an
organic foliage fertilizer of fish emulsion, to which I add kelp emulsion
(according to label directions.)
Enjoy your eggplants. How do you cook them?
