Interesting suggestion!

However, lucky moi doesn't actually have any IFA problems. I'm just a
scoche too far north for them to be able to winter over successfully.

Vasha, our original requester for info, is in the heart of Dixie,
though--Alabama has BIG IFA problems.

Just for fun I will send a note to our fire-ant researcher, Homer Collins,
down in Biloxi at our Fire Ant Lab and see what he thinks of Johnson's baby
powder. He has tested thousands and thousands of possible remedies over a
20+-year career in that kind of research. Obviously the person who figures
out what the silver bullet is will be rich in a big big way. But there's
no bullet today and none on the immediate horizon, according to Homer.

Do you think the powder kills them, Richard, or just drives them off?
