Strawberry spacing?

I guess my setup broke after a subscribed to this mailing list. I don't
know if my original post made it out but I wasn't able to see the
replies, if any to it. So I'll post it again. I hope my system don't
hiccup again:)

Hi everyone. I'm new to this mailing list. I recently set upon designing
vegetable garden using most of the ideas of sqft gardening.

Couple of questions:

What is the recommended spacing for strawberries for a sqft garden?

What type of business would I have the best chance of buying vermiculite
in bulk for a reasonable price? The small bags of vermiculite at
garden centers is way too small and relatively expensive to use in
the quantity a need for my planned raised beds. I did find Perlite and
used it in my first two raised bed, cinder block 3' x 7' planter beds.
