RE: Straightneck Summer Squash

Hello,

Although I can't say with 100% accuracy that you have bush type squash, I would say based upon my inability to find any vining type yellow squash that it's likely they're bush.

I bought one of those 10 for $1 seeds packets for summer squash.  The variety is Straightneck Early Yellow.  I can't tell if it is a bush or a vine variety from the information on the packet.  Does anyone know if I should grow this vertically of not?

Thanks,
Deborah
