We all have our causes BUT this is a gardening list

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

>I for one prefer to keep this list for the discussion of sq ft gardening, I
realize we have a diverse lot here and our causes are very important to us,
but by sticking to the thing that brought us to this list we will all get
along much better. Charlie

*This issue of being OT (meaning "Off," not On Topic) has been
broached. Bras are banned. Several (2) complaints were made...
we were asked to stay On Topic. When raised again, the moderator
said it would usually ~" die out in a day or two..."

I know this seems related, at first glance.
But think. Here on this List, we talk about gardening.
Trellices apply; Mel said so. Lotta other stuff too.
And seeds that we grow. No mention was made of seeds which
we cannot harvest... e.g.: "Sterile Seeds."
(Right? I don't have the book now.)

We do not actually garden here. We TALK about it. IF sterile
seeds come about, it has no bearing. I may not actually garden.
I may be a brain in a jar. I can still TALK about it. Maybe it
will all be, "Remember when we used to..." and to our grandkids
(those of you who actually DO garden, who have actual bodies,)
"Why when I was a boy/girl, we used to actually have dirt & plants!"
But it will still be possible to TALK here about gardening.

It will have no effect. Mel doesn't mention it, why shoukd we.
Being Off Topic, I feel perhaps Charlie was right to tell you
where to go... away. LOL

But in the vein of constructive criticism...
Let's be specific. I know where this will be appreciated.

Go away, to here:

Group Description:
The Urban Ecology list discusses the political, technical, social, economic,
and poetic relationships that grow out of humans living in groups. We examine
not only cities' effects on the earth, but city living's effects on us as
individuals and as communities, and how we
can make urban living a positive process for ourselves, for our posterity, and
for the earth.

It was the First List Subscription I had.
(Which I can talk about freely. LOL)

May I offer this to another site Pat?
The aquaponics List agreed to allow this stuff.
Urban ecology even appreciated 70 K, (after editing)
of insider Seattle WTO I got. Took me 3 emails.
Tanks, er, thanks, for the info, will wait with baited breath...
