Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Dear Friends, Recently bought four 45 gallon (imperial gallons) plastic drums from a fellow near Edmonton, Alberta here (zone 3b). Intend to build a water storage/distribution system (lol) for my new beds. Dale recommended I look for a water pump out of an old clothes washing machine. the pump is easy to hook up and it will run on house currant. It may be all I need to get water to the planned soaker hoses to be installed in the three beds. Anyway thought you might be inspired with a little recycling opportunity. If you would like to see a drawing/sketch of the water system I have in mind to build next month, you will find it on my web site: http://sqftjourney.homestead.com/Ideasfornearfuture.html Have a great day, bill m. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sammy's huwumin" <s*@listbot.com> To: <b*@sprint.ca> Sent: Friday, March 24, 2000 12:55 PM Subject: (fwd) Re: (fwd) Re: rain barrels?/used laundry water > Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html > > not much help anymore, I guess! sorreeeeee > > On Fri, 24 Mar 2000 07:38:07 -0500, "beulah appleton" > <b*@voyager.net> wrote: > > >Judy: > > I used to have a washer that could pump the water back in and then I > >would either use it for dark clothes or rags.
