Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hello,
Yes sugar baby water melons can be grown up a trellis but you will need
to have a strong support system.
I have heard making a sling to cradle the melon and allow it to grow
works.
You tie the sling to the support net which you use for a trellis. I use
plastic coated fence on my trellis that grow cantaloupes up with a old
clean cloth baby diaper tied so that it makes a sling for the melons. I
have heard some use panty hose. I use panty hose to tie my tomato vines
to the trellis I use to grow them.
I wouldn't attempt to grow any huge melons like this though.
