OT - by the signs

My Grandad & I were very close.  He was born in 1900.  Around 1935-40, he was
in Nebraska.

3 families were putting in sidewalks.  2 did. One didn't. Asked why, he
replied, moon was wrong.  Cement wouldn't last.  Couple weeks later, or so, he
did his.  He said their's would never last.  By the end of the year, their's
had cracked.  His didn't, in the remaining years my psychiatrist Grandad was
there.  That's all I know.

We don't understand, but neither do the tides, and they go along.  We tend to
respect the unknown, and other cuktures' beliefs, when not attributed to an
idol or "chicken blood" and the like.
