would think if you've already got compost... You probably don't need to
worry about the other stuff (cow manure, etc.) I highly recommend the book
Lasagna Gardening by Patricia Lanza. Basically the method she describes is
sheet composting, right in place, and she says you use whatever materials you
have available!
