I'm grown them several times. They're an elongated egg shaped paste variety,
fairly thick skinned and quite good in my opinion, definitely not blah. A
little moister inside than some of the very dry paste varieties, so I suppose
you could make a sandwich with one although they are best suited for making
sauce or paste. The determinate bushes get about 3-4' tall, so are best grown
caged. I use cages make of page wire, 4' tall and about 2-3' in diameter. Like
most determinates I find them pretty susceptable to blight. If you can grow
them where they'll have some protection from overhead watering/rain they'll fair
much better.
