Hello All, I've started about 40 tomato plants (6 varieties) inside with Jiffy 7 peat pellets. Most have now been transplanted into 4" peat pots. For a while they were enclosed in homemade plastic tents. I opened the tents about two weeks ago, so air could circulate (I started noticing white fuzzy stuff on the soil surface). They live on sunny window sills. The sizes range from 2" to approximately 6" tall. They are moist not wet (now that the tents are open). This morning I noticed some very pale tan spots starting to form on the larger leaves of 3 of the San Remos. I haven't noticed this on any of the others. These San Remos are also in close proximaty to each other. I've isolated those three just in case its contageous. I look at all the plants twice a day and this is the first time I have noticed this coloration. Does anyone know what this is? Will it spread? Am I going to loose my babies? Oh yes, this will be my first year square foot gardening, hence the 40 plants. I wanted to fit as many as I could within my two planting areas/gardens. Sorry for such a long note, but I wanted to give you all the facts. Would appreciate any help you could give. Thanks, Diana USDA Zone 6; Sunset Zone 10 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Wherever you go there you are* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
