Depending on what the seeds are, you can store them in your fridge for up to
5 years, sometimes longer as long as they are kept dry and cold. If you're
worried about germination of stored seeds, just take a few out before you
want to plant and germinate them in a wet paper towel. If they do germinate,
great! If not, buy some new ones.
