There is a whole page in the book on pre-sprouting seeds. Here in Northern Alabama, USA it is (probably) too early to plant many seeds directly in the cold ground. By pre-sprouting, them, I hope to get a jump on the growing season (assuming I get very lucky frost-wise). My house brick wall will probably help me there, too. also, I'm making some fence wire/plastic covering to use in colder weather and spring rains. Fun! Rocket Jim in Rocket City (Huntsville AL)
