Various compostable items ?

Just curious about certain things that should or should not go into a
compost bin.

Banana peelings?        Egg shells?     Rabbit BMs?....could they go directly to the
garden?         Kitty litter? (non scented)

Should the peelings etc be ground up?  How often should or could the pile
be turned to speed up the process?  Once a week?        Do they have an automatic
compost turner?

Where could I look for more info on composting?  Web addresses?

Just full of questions :-)

Have a nice spring...... I enjoy this list a great deal.
