Hi Catherine,
You have a point. I know my soil is quite alkaline. I use peat
moss and gypsum to try to bring down the soil pH, and in the
past have been successful at helping tomatoes and peppers by
transplanting them a couple inches above a pile of unlit paper
matches. Maybe I'm also helping the bone meal to break down by
adding peat moss, gypsum, compost, etc.
Sorry to you and all the rest SQFT'rs. I've been delinquent.
I'm going to go get that FAQ address right now and post it.
