square foot potatoes

Hi,

I'm new to this list and find it very informative. Last year I tried gardening
for the first time and used the square foot method. I had the best tomatoes,
peppers, brocolli, and cabbage of anyone I know.

This year I am going to expand and have 9 4'x4' gardens.  This may seem like a
lot of garden space, but we're vegetarians so we'll eat everything that grows!


My question is about the spacing of potatoes in the square foot garden scheme.
I have Mel's book and I don't see anything about potatoes.  Maybe I missed
it!!  I love potatoes and really want to grow a lot of them.  Does anyone have
any ideas?
