Some very newbie questions

Hi everyone,

This question has probably been asked before but I must have missed it. I've
gardened before but nothing very serious, this year I hope to get into it
more. I am starting a compost bin and need some advise. First, I've been
saving allot of my old coffee grounds to put into it but I've also been
saving allot of used tea bags and wondering if these will be beneficial to
the composting. Secondly, I would like to know how long it usually takes
before you can begin getting usable compost from your pile.

In closing I would like to say that I think this list is Great! I've learned
allot from reading everyone's great advise and hope that someday I'll know
enough to contribute some good information.
