I've found WOW great. My last spring freeze is April 4. However, many times
I have transplanted tomatoes out as soon as the soil can be worked. The same
time I sow the peas. In the five years I've used WOW, I have never lost a
tomato plant yet. One April about two or three years ago, it snowed. I mean
it really snowed. Some of the tomatoes had grown enough to peek out the top
of the WOW. Only the tips of those tomatoes were injured. I just trimmed off
the injured leaves and the plants keep growing without any harm done to the
plants themselves.
