Planting 270 sqft of beans has certainly nothing to do with
Square Foot Gardening. I plant them in beds of 120 x 600 cm in three rows.
Bush beans are really not nitty-picky. Some are interplanted (with cabbage,
squash, strawberries), some not.
Just as an explanation: I have 3 types of gardens: A huge one with standard
beds for decades, SQFT for 18 months now, and a Franck garden since one year.
SQFT is still on trial, only 9 squares 4x4, according to the Bible's cover.
