Short Season Corn

Dear Chris, Sandra et al,

In the current Shepherd's catalog, and I quote"To grow the 'baby' ears used in Chinese cooking and as pickled appetizer goodies, just plant your sweet corn seed closer together(6in)and harvest the tiny ears when the silks start to emerge from the husk leaves. The baby cobs will be about 3in long with perfect but barely developed kernels. Our Kandy Korn and Early Sunglow are good varieties to use."
