Hi Bill,
First let me say, welcome to the list. There are alot of very knowledgeable
people here so don't be afraid to ask questions.
As for the okra, I got answers ranging from 1 per 4 ft square to 9 per 1ft
square! I don't remember who, but someone told me 1 per 1ft square, which is
what Pinetree Seeds also recommends. I am going to plant 1 per square. From
what I remember of okra in my papaw's "garden" (a little over 1/2
acre.....lol), it doesn't get much bigger than peppers. Peppers are planted 1
per square.
This in NOT my favorite veggie, but my son adores it. So into my garden it
goes. I can let you know how it does through the season if you like.
