Strawberries

Hello, everyone...

I'm new to the list and to the method but I am very excited about both.

I'm changing my frontyard to a strawberry bed this weekend, and I a)
thought the sq. ft. method would be more attractive than the row method and
b) just read Mel's book and want to put it into practice ASAP.

Has anyone out there ever planted strawberries by the sq. ft. method? If
so, what is the best spacing?

Thanks so much for this and everything. I've already gotten loads of useful
advice from just reading.
