Tabletop Gardening

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

"The Book" does indeed have how tos for a tabletop type of garden. I am
thinking of doing some of my gardening on my patio this summer, since my
community garden is a car ride away.

What I am considering is getting a few rubbermaid type containers
(the storage sort), filling them with soil and placing them on my patio
table. They would sort of resemble blocks in my real garden, so spacing
carrots, spinach, and radishes would be pretty easy. Any thoughts or
suggestions? I am also looking to container garden, and if anyone has
recommendations for INEXPENSIVE containers for tomatoes, cukes, etc, I'd
appreciate them! Thanks!

backyard as soon as there's a free, DRY day!)
