Call any of the local tree trimming services.  When they cut down and chip
trees they have to pay to dump the chippings.  In our community garden they
are always happy to leave a truckload for us.  To them it's a free trash
dump, to us it's free mulch with free delivery!  Ask for good stuff (Oak or
Pine not Eucalyptus), well chipped, not all twigs and branches.  Tip the
driver and give him your phone number, next time they chip an Oak tree you
can get a call.
