Hi Missy,
	Perhaps you could container garden?  Find locations that have atleast 6
hours of sun a day preferably more 8-10 hrs. Big pots/tubs each one
being a square foot... 
	When I lived in Louisiana in a pine forest I container gardened with
lower light plants.  No tomatoes or peppers at that location.  Lots of
impatiens
